I'm trying to make £50 a day from a laptop in 90 days, starting from £0. Daily videos, a recap every Sunday, real numbers only.
£50 a day is measured as each week's total divided by seven, so one lucky day can't carry a bad week.
Four ways I’m trying to make £50 a day from a laptop. Every win and every flop goes up as a video first.
The end goal. Daily short-form videos on my own channels and The Slowmads, plus UGC: making videos for brands, starting with outreach to build a portfolio. Money here comes from brand deals and UGC fees first, then ad revenue and affiliates as the channels grow.
Selling other brands' products through TikTok Shop and earning commission on each sale. The account has to meet TikTok's eligibility rules first, so this one starts with growing the account, then testing products on camera.
Using AI tools and workflows to find, test and sell products without holding stock. Two tracks: quick product tests to find something that sells, and a longer-term brand if one sticks. I'll show the tools, the costs and the returns.
Editing short clips from other creators' videos for paid campaigns. It's here if it earns its place: it keeps my editing sharp and grows accounts I can use later, but I've been burned by unpaid clips before, so it has to prove itself. The aim is £10 to £15 a day towards the £50, not the whole thing.
What this isn't: A course. I'm not selling a system I haven't proven. You get the real numbers, good and bad, and you decide what's worth copying.
Confirmed money only. If it hasn't landed, it doesn't count.
Nothing earned before Day 1 counts.
Every flop gets posted.
I'm from Manchester. I spent years running multi-site retail and hospitality operations in the UK, with over £7M in combined turnover. Good career, no freedom.
Since then I've lived in Chiang Mai, Brisbane and now Da Nang. Australia reminded me of the life I don't want: I was back working full time, same as in the UK. The life I do want only works if the income works from anywhere, so I'm building it in public.
